Repair conditions
1. Scope
These conditions apply to repair and replacement orders to Akku New, Fernand Heinen, 111, Route de Mersch, L-7432 Gosseldange, Luxembourg. We repair existing battery packs; We do not offer the sale of batteries or cells.
2. Inquiry and order
Our initial assessment based on photos and information is non-binding. We only carry out an order after we have told you the price and you have agreed. If, when opening the battery, it becomes clear that additional work or parts are necessary, we will discuss this with you in advance.
3. Delivery and shipping
We accept batteries in our workshop after prior arrangement. Shipping is only possible after prior agreement: Lithium batteries are considered dangerous goods during transport and must be packed according to our instructions. Damaged, swollen or hot batteries must not be sent - in this case, call us. Shipping costs apply for regular returns. The costs and payment methods can be found at Shipping and payment. Statutory claims to free removal of defects remain unaffected.
4. Developed cells
When we reassemble, we replace all cells. Removed cells must be disposed of properly. For return information, see Battery Disposal.
5. Capacity upgrade
An upgrade to cells with higher capacity will only take place at your request and only if the housing, electronics (BMS) and charger allow this after our testing. The range or running time also depends on the device, usage and temperature.
6. Warranty
The statutory warranty rights apply. We do not promise any additional voluntary guarantee for new orders. Guarantees that have already been issued remain unaffected. 7. Notes on use
Please charge the battery with a suitable charger, avoid deep discharge, short circuits, shocks, moisture, extreme heat and cold, and do not open or modify the battery. The device manufacturer's instructions continue to apply.
8. Cancellation and liability
Information about a possible right of withdrawal for distance selling can be found at Revocation. We are liable in accordance with legal regulations. Mandatory rights of consumers remain unaffected.
9. Dispute Resolution and Applicable Law
Luxembourg law applies. The mandatory protective regulations of the country in which they have their habitual residence also apply to consumers. In the event of a dispute, consumers can contact the Service national du Médiateur de la consommation (6, rue du Palais de Justice, L-1841 Luxembourg, www.mediateurconsommation.lu).
